It's been awhile...
Just wanted to touch base with my diary. I admit, it's been very rough these past several months. I'd say that the infusions (that I take every 8 weeks) doesn't last too long. I'd say that by week #5, it is all gone from my system. Then I have to depend on my old remedies like fish oil, turmeric and glucosamine supplements.
The one thing that I haven't been doing (and I know I MUST DO)...is...working out. What?! How insane and totally undoable is that?!?! Well, yeah, I know I totally agree with you but "IF YOU DON'T MOVE IT, YOU LOSE IT". Totally not fair for those of us who can barely make it to the bathroom...we are expected to work out to gain that much needed muscle to support our joints.
My legs are totally absent of muscles right now. I used to have beautiful defined legs back in the day when I used to wear high heels. Nowadays, I don't wear high heels at all. I hardly walk much and my knees are literally thicker than my supposed quadriceps. I kid you not. I'm embarrassed to wear shorts because I can't stand the sight of my legs. This has to change. Today, I did leg lifts while sitting on the couch. My arms equally need attention. I started doing stretches and shadow punching while sitting on the couch. Hey, it's a start! It needs to be done! Physical therapy is a great start.
